YOUTH POLICY SERIES
Focus: Federal Policy & Budget
Organization: ICI
Type: Webinar Dialogue Series
Role: Organizer & Moderator
Initiative Overview:
ICI’s Youth Policy Series is an ongoing dialogue series that brings youth and policy professionals together to unpack Canada’s major policy, program, and budget decisions through a youth lens. Each session focuses on a current federal issue—such as housing, climate, innovation, or affordability—and translates complex policy into accessible, actionable conversation. The series creates space for youth to question decision-makers directly, share lived experience, and test their own ideas, while giving policymakers real-time insight into the priorities of the next generation. Ultimately, the goal is to build a pipeline of informed young leaders and a policy community that treats youth as partners, not afterthoughts.
